What to expect

After receiving dermal filler injections, initial results are visible immediately, with the full effect typically becoming apparent within 48 hours. These results generally last between 4 to 6 months, varying based on individual lifestyles. Maintenance injections are typically necessary to sustain the desired appearance. Should you choose to discontinue treatments, your appearance will gradually return to its original state.

Procedure

Our nurse injector begins with a consultation to discuss your concerns and health history. Based on your desired outcome, they will recommend the appropriate use of injections and identify targeted areas. We select the most suitable filler for your needs and determine the required number of syringes. Prior to the injection procedure, patients typically receive numbing to minimize discomfort. The injection process usually takes about half an hour, varying based on the treated areas and volume of filler.

How long will it take for me to see the results

Are dermal fillers reversible

An advantage of dermal fillers is their reversibility. If you’re not entirely satisfied with the results and wish to change them, Hyaluronidase can be injected into the treatment area to dissolve the filler within approximately 24 hours. This offers flexibility and the ability to adjust as needed.

After care

After receiving your dermal injections, you might experience some mild redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or itching. These are completely normal and will normally resolve in less than 7 days (or longer for lips injection).

Do not rub or massage the area for 24 hours.

Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours post treatment.

It is recommended to avoid extended exposure to excessive heat or freezing temperatures for up to 2.

It is not recommended to apply make-up for 12 hours after treatment.

Avoid strenuous activity for the remainder of the day post treatment.

Do not use AHA’s, retinol, Vitamin C, IPL, Chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for 2 weeks after treatment. You must contact us immediately if you experience bruising that does not subside and gets worse.

Because we don’t want patients choosing fillers based on price. It is important that our nurse injector uses the right filler for each unique patient and his or her concern.

HOW LONG DO FILLERS LAST?

Typically, depending on the filler used, the individual characteristics of the patient, and the area treated. the results will typically last anywhere from 4- 6 months depending on different lifestyles. Normally you will need to receive fillers again to maintain your appearance. If you have decided to stop getting injections your appearance will just revert to its original state.

HOW MUCH FILLER WILL I NEED?

The amount of filler needed will be based on your aesthetic goals. Each syringe of filler contains 1ml of liquid.

ARE DERMAL FILLERS PAINFUL?

We will normally apply a topical numbing cream to the target area to help eliminate any discomfort as much as possible. Our fillers also contain lidocaine, which will continue to numb the area with each injection.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR FILLERS INJECTION?

In general, if you are 18 or older, and in good health, you are a suitable candidate for filler injections. People who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid using fillers.
